I didn't receive an order confirmation?
If you have placed an order with us but not received an order confirmation email then you have probably provided us with the wrong email address. Please contact us using the contact form or email us at info@mjdesignstudiosa.com and we will update your order information so you can receive your order confirmation correctly.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. Just double check to make sure it didn't land in your junk folder, as e-mails sometimes end up there by accident.
What is the order note field for?
When making a purchase, you may come across an optional "Notes" section on the cart page. This section provides you with the opportunity to include any special instructions or requests related to your order, such as framing preferences or gift card messages.

We offers free shipping for all orders over R1500. Orders under R1500 will charge standard shipping fee of R105.

We deliver nationwide using The Courier Guy courier services.

Credit cards & Cheque cards payment:
- We offer secure authenticated and encrypted credit and cheque card processing, from MasterCard and Visa card holders, within South Africa only. Secure card processing is done via Payfast and Payflex.
EFT:
- If you select EFT payment method, a digital invoice will be sent to you along with our banking details for you to make an electronic transfer. Please note that you will need to send us your digital proof of payment for us to process your order and conform to your payment. Please use your order number as reference.

Exchanges & Returns
Can I do an exchange?
- Art prints: Art prints are custom made to order, they cannot be exchanged or returned.
- Frames: If you ordered wrong size or colour of the frames, please send us your exchange request via email with your order number.
Please note that our professional frames cannot be exchanged or returned, as they are custom-made and already adhered to the artwork, making them unsuitable for resale. We recommend carefully reviewing your selection before placing your order to ensure everything is just right.
If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
*The items must be in the same condition that you have received, unused and with brand label. Please also note there will be an extra shipping fee for the return parcel collection and resending the parcel.
Can I do a return?
Art prints are non-refundable as they are custom-made to order. Please make sure the correct size/frame is selected before checkout. We are not liable for incorrect orders that have been printed and delivered.
How do I apply for the replacement if my product is damaged on delivery?
In the event of your product being defective, damaged upon delivery, or if you have received the wrong item, please notify us immediately and provide photographic evidence within 48 hours of receiving the parcel from the courier. This will allow us to promptly evaluate and resolve the issue.
*Please kindly note we will not offer free shipping for any replacement after 2 days of receiving the parcel, regardless of the reason for the replacement and exchange. You will be responsible for the shipping fees and replacement costs.

What is the material of the art print and frame?
- Art prints: All prints are printed with high-quality inks on 230g/m2 premium art paper with matt finish.
- Canvas: All artworks are printed with high-quality inks on premium 360gsm cotton canvas and applied with clear matt varnish. The canvas will be stretched on a 30mm wooden frame and ready to hang on arrival.
- Frames: Our frame are made from high quality natural wood and with three different colours: natural ash wood, painted white and painted black. Frames are fitted with backing board and hangers for both portrait and landscape hanging.
What is the border style on an art print?
- No border: The print will use the full size of the paper.
- With white border: The art print will have a white margin around the sides of the paper. I.e. the image itself will be slightly smaller than the selected paper size. Kindly note the exact size of the margin will be proportional to the size of the paper.
Where do the artworks originate from?
We have an in-house team of designers who create artworks, as well as source from public domain resources, in order to curate a diverse selection of wall art.
What size art prints do you offer?
The standard size is from A5 to A0 size. We offer customize size for all art prints as well.
Does the art print/wall art set come with the frame?
Art prints and frames are sold separately. If you would like to add a frame, there are quick links on each art print product page under the prints. Or alternatively, please visit the art frames page for all availabilities.
How to select frame for my print?
To add a frame to your print, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you'll find the "Add a Frame" option. Alternatively, you can visit our Art Frames Collection to choose the perfect frame that complements your print.
If I order art print and frame together, will you help to frame it?
For orders that include both frames and art prints of matching sizes, we will frame the art print for you, ensuring it is ready to hang upon arrival.
Please note that A0 frames will be sealed at the backboard due to the large size and delicate nature of the paper. Consequently, the artwork cannot be removed from the frame. This sealing ensures that the print stays securely in place and well-protected.

What is Perspex in an A0 frame?
Perspex is a brand name for a high-quality acrylic material, also known as acrylic glass. In an A0 frame, Perspex is used as a protective cover in place of traditional glass. This material is lightweight, durable, and shatter-resistant, making it a safer and more practical option for framing large prints or artworks. It provides clear visibility while protecting the artwork from dust, moisture, and damage.
